This place is such a scam. They tell you 3 hour wait time for everything including a simple oil change. I'd never buy another car here, this place is terrible, and now I'm stuck going because my first 6 oil changes are covered by them. They ask for more money for everything, and my car is a certified pre owned, but there were at least a half a dozen things they should have caught while being inspected but they didn't. Even simple things like windshield wipers and clearing the last person's saved information. No way they did ... read more

I have been to Hyundai service four times for maintenance since purchasing my Palisade about a year ago. Each time, I brought up the same concern: I was not happy with the steering wheel alignment, and the vehicle vibrates while driving. Unfortunately, instead of properly road-testing or investigating the issue, I felt like my concerns were dismissed. I was told each time that it was “normal operation” for the vehicle. Bought my car at a different Hyundai dealership, however after multiple failed attempts to inspect and resolve the jerking on a fairly new Palisade ( under warranty) finally brought my car to Elgin Hyundai. While the replacement of transmission took longer then expected finally got my car working great as it were new. Greatful for friendly service advisors especially Jose for keeping me in the loop while car was being serviced. Should I decide to buy a Hyundai again, will come back to Elgin Hyundai.
