They say the city is putting off the closing date but when we email the city they say its the builder not following through. The homes were built quickly and not well thought out. Lesson learned. Stay away from builders and contracts like this.

The quality is really bad and it is been more than 1 year no closing date set, charged high occupancy fee each month, all the construction has been done why no final close?!

For anyone looking at buying a sequoia home, just don’t. Save yourself the huge hassle of having a home built like a shack. We’ve been in our home for less then 4 months and every day there’s a new problem with 0 care or resolution from the builder. Leaking shower, shower that doesn’t drain, grout missing in showers, doors don’t close, missing wood in stairs, damaged cabinets, hole in the shower floor, holes in trim not filled, damaged floors, just to name a FEW off the top of my head. Again, just don’t do it.
