Elgin is a small community that would be great to live in and raise your family. The only problem I see is that it needs to modernize its business area and bring in a Wallmart, Target or even a bigger HEB. Why do we give our business to the other towns nearby or drive into Austin to do our shopping, when we can have the windfalls of these businesses here in Elgin. This would increase our employment in Elgin and make shoppers happy to shop in Elgin.I know that the community college being built here in Elgin is a great benefit... read more
