I joined Ken (Owner) and some aquaintances to learn more about snow structure, terrain and avalanche risk by taking the AST1 course this week. We covered the material via Zoom over 2 evenings and then an actively-distanced day in th back country to observe and assess avalanche risk. I thought it could be an interesting package. I would recommend this course to anyone spending time in the back country whether it be touring, cat-skiing or heli-skiing. Ken was responsive, super knowledgeable and humble.
