Called asked for a quote to rebuild a very common nv4500 out of a dodge 2wd. They quoted $2500 to rebuild it and made sure i knew it was the rarest nv4500 transmisson because it was 2wd and hard to get parts for. Called a shop down the road. Was Quoted $900 to rebuild because its the most common and easiet transmisson to rebuild. Defiantly call around before going here.
I can't thank these guys or let you know how awesome they are! I was 6 hours away from home when my car started acting up and these guys were there and saved us! Paid 7100 for a performance 4l60e for a 500hp truck and one peace drive shaft conversion. They didn't check and reset pinion angle. They gave the truck back with multiple leaks and a vibration at higher speeds due to pinion angle not being set correctly. Took the truck back multiple times for them to fix leaks and check vibration. They had to pull transmission twice to fix leaks under warranty and both times they said they couldn't duplicate vibration. Brought a UTV that I thought needed the transmission replaced. (They typically do not work on UTVs). Upon inspecting the vehicle they identified that the CVT belt was worn and needing replaced. They advised me of the issue and that the transmission seemed to be in working order but that they did not have the specific tool to handle the repair. They recommended another facility in town. Michelle, Donavan and their expert team of technicians did a great job on my truck. Definitely would recommend this shop to everyone. They are people persons and take care of their customers not to mention their expertise on transmissions. Thanks to you all my truck made it back to California and is working as well as it should be.
