I had a nagging knee issue. Ortho was no help. Tried SCOI, didn't care for the service or attention I was getting. My issue wasn't TERRIBLE, it was just getting in the way of my running routine. I called Matt and talked it out with him, and scheduled a time to go in for a treatment. He was able to diagnose and prescribe PT for me. I considered myself to be fairly athletic and in decent shape before hurting my back. I would run 2-3 times a week and workout up to 5 times a week. I had run multiple races in the years leading up to my injury. But I herniated a disc in my lower back approximately two years ago doing deadlifts. Chris is an amazing strength coach. He has a really good eye for detail and form. He has a perfect balance between pushing you to try harder and being safe with your training.
I've been going to EP for the last month or so to treat my steadily-increasing lower back pain which has been developing over the last few years. I've been seeing Matt for about an hour or so once a week for the last 5 or 6 weeks and I've already seen a dramatic decrease in my back pain, so much so that I've been thinking about getting active again now that stuff doesn't hurt so much!
