I had the most incredible (and unexpected!) experience with Dr. Jen of Elevate Chiropractic recently. We were both attending a women’s business retreat, and after a massage therapist mentioned my hips were misaligned. Which explained the nagging lower back pain I’d been dealing with Dr. Jen stepped right in. Even in a retreat setting, she was professional, attentive, and incredibly patient. I wish I could give 10 stars for Dr Jen! She is such a sweet person. Her willingness to come to our home to treat our Great Dane mix is beyond appreciation! My dog was dragging a front foot from a compressed disc and hip pain. The vet wanted to give him drugs, no thank you! Brutus is back to running, playing and over all so happy again. I tell everyone they need to have their dogs treated by Dr Jen. She turned my dog's life around!
Dr. Jen is amazing with my reactive dog Maya. She was injured over the summer and Dr. Jen was so caring and gentle. At some point, Dr. Jen suggested we check out the option of physical therapy. It means a lot when a doctor can step back and say that they don't have all of the answers within their field. Recently, Maya has started actually getting excited when she sees Dr. Jen at her new office, and that's saying something coming from Maya. It's safe to say we both look forward to going to our Dr. Jen appointments!
A few months ago we noticed some changes with our 10 year old German Shepherd/Hound - Ollie. She was missing the couch and crouched over. We took her to our vet and they gave us absolutely no hope. My dog has had back issues ever since he had an injury more than a year ago, so I decided to try chiropracty since his pain medication was making him a shell of a dog. He is responding a lot better to the stretches and other work on his muscles, joints, and bones during the sessions than to just basic pain management.
