Good cut the one time they respected my appointment. Both other times; I took morning off so I could get my cut and head to work after. First time, barber showed up 30 minutes late. (NBD, had to drop off kid or something) Second time, got a text a minute after my appointment time saying my barber wouldn’t be there. With the pattern, I felt that my time wasn’t being respected.
I tried to give this barbershop a shot since it’s so conveniently located butttt the 2nd time I had issues, I had to give feedback. First time I booked was with Diego. That was already a bad start but figured it might just be a barber thing. I booked for Redwood City and he messaged me about 30 min before my appointment to go to the shop in San Mateo. Had a really good experience here. The barber took time to listen to what I wanted and didn’t rush the cut. Friendly atmosphere, fair price, and I left feeling genuinely happy with the result.
My haircut experience here was decent but not without its quirks. The barber was nice, but I felt a bit rushed during the cut. Overall, not bad, but I might try somewhere new next time.
