I have been coming to Elevate Barbershop in San Mateo for the past five years and have always been happy with the service and results. Diego is my barber of choice, but it seems like all of the barbers in there give a clean haircut. I typically do a skin fade and beard trim and never been dissatisfied. The vibe is lively, the barbers are friendly and the cuts are great. Do note that this place gets super busy during peak hours, so making a reservation is recommended.
I was happy initially with my haircut in this barbershop. However, more recently, they started to overbook, I have to wait quite long despite coming on time for my scheduled appointment. If you have a busy schedule do not expect to have your haircut on time. I brought my son couple of times, despite my detailed instructions they seem to do what is on their mind. The vibe is also deteriorating recently (badmouthing etc).
Always reliable, great service, and great haircuts. Highly recommend
