Generally, I have had a good experience with Dartmouth Hitchcock . Except for this doctor. I was put on medication that did not interact well with medication that I was on. She didn't even bother checking to see if there was any negative interaction. The office called me and told me that I needed to see a neurosurgeon- said that something was in my head, but could not tell me what according to the scheduler. Im very concerned, of course. My contact with Dr. Ivashina left me feeling more hopeless and defeated prior to seeing her. I have been struggling with severe pain due to multiple issues with my spine. She was on her computer the entire time that I spent with her and she was clearly not present. She did not complete a sufficient exam or obtain a indepth history. She did not see a complete picture of my disease process or the substantial impact it has had on my life and what I have lost.
