Element Properties WILL screw you down to the last dollar on your security deposit refund! Do NOT rent with them. Element has a $25 'fee' for splitting the security deposit refund check. Jen, the property manager, doesn't even ASK you if you want 1 check, which is as simple as writing a one-sentence e-mail. Instead, she charged both me and roommate $12.50 each for the supposed hardship of writing two separate checks.
