staying here at early November 2025 using point redemption, and i found that Element Richmond did not differentiate service level, whether the person was paying guest or redemption users. cheers on that! first of all, i must compliment Mr. Tristan (the front desk staff) for his clarity in explaining hotel facilites and his enthusiasm serving guest, he even tried his best to make my early check in possible. i felt very relaxed in the hotel, the room was very clean, quit and the bed was super comfy. i even use pool table in th... read more

Excellent customer service both at the check in by Ms. Simran and the restaurant staff. Will definitely recommend staying here as the tram to CBD just stops outside this hotel. Marriott status was also instantly recognized for late check out

I stayed for three nights after driving the Great Ocean Road. The location is towards the end of Swan Street at the edge of Melbourne University Campus. The site was very quiet at night, but a tram stop is opposite, giving easy accessibility to central Melbourne. I was able to go to the theatre in the evening and easily get back using public transport. The Yarra River is opposite, which was lovely for a morning run along. Just recently had a wonderful stay at Element. The room was beautifully appointed and extremely cosy. The bed super comfortable and warm. The staff are a stand out feature, being friendly and bend over backwards to help in any way. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, and I thank everyone involved in my recent stay.

Tram #70 walking distance very close to hotel. 20-30 minutes from CBD. A bit away from activities so 4 stars but easy ride into center city and good value. Rooms exceptionally quiet and can darken for excellent sleep. Housekeeping very clean. Breakfast buffet included if you have enough Marriott status. Great taste and value.
