Underwhelming is how I would describe my experience tonight. Which is a real shame because this is such a pretty place. The food simply did not agree with me or my guests. The stuffed mushrooms appetizer was chewy (rubbery) due to the type of mushroom used. The bacon mushroom soup however was fantastic! Entrees - I had the filet skewers and while the steak was good, it came with the same rubbery mushrooms as a side. Plus the fingerling potatoes were over cooked and hard. Phenomenal! Great date night restaurant.
Element is an upscale restaurant with delicious food options, friendly service, and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The scallops were cooked to perfection, as was the pork tenderloin. The portions were fair, without being overly generous. The special was ribeye steak with mashed Chipotle sweet potatoes. It was a very generous portion, and was delicious. I would highly recommend Element. Being upscale, be prepared to extend you dinner budget some for the evening meal, but well worth the cost for a special evening or occasion.
The food was great. We are on the patio and it was perfect.
