Fabulous! Nothing like it anywhere else. The variety, the service and the ambiance are worth the stop
Drove in from Lafayette yesterday for my first visit; absolutely worth the trip! I was impressed with the selection of canvases, threads, and the owners' friendliness and helpfulness. Seems like a cozy place to sit and stitch for awhile; I'll definitely be back soon!
They do everything they can to make learning a good experience. I watched how helpful they were to everyone who came in during my unscheduled lesson in embroidery.
The Elegant Needle is a warm, creative, welcoming place filled with all the colors of the world....but more importantly filled with love.

Fantastic customer service!! When a finisher for another shop ruined my LSU ornament, Catherine offered to replace the canvas for free. This was in spite of the facts that it wasn't her fault and she wasn't even the shop owner at the time I bought the canvas. The other shop ended up taking care of the problem but Catherine won my business.
Excellent selection and all of the lovely ladies there are so very helpful!
Catherine has turned me into a stitcher. I especially like it in the fall while watching football. Needlepoint and football, who knew. So come on guys don't be afraid, it's fun. Catherine is going to start some beginners classes if there are enough people that want to take it up. The bonus is there are always a lot of pretty ladies at the Elegant Needle.
