Small diamond from my wedding band bought from another store fell off. I was lucky to have found the stone. Elegant Goldsmiths helped me put the stone back on, extending the prong that got wore off overtime. All done in <45 minutes. Got the ring back all sparkly and polished.
Today, I visited this jewelry store with the simple intention of browsing and exploring the selection. A staff member approached me and kindly offered assistance, which I appreciated. I asked if I could try on three or four rings, and she was accommodating at first, which gave me a positive impression. However, the experience quickly took a disappointing turn.
