When I received my wedding dress, I was shocked to find that they had altered my Vera Wang wedding dress without informing me. In particular, the first flower on the dress — which in the original design was positioned lower and beautifully balanced with the draping — has been moved noticeably higher, disrupting the original proportion and look. Do not be fooled by the 5 star reviews! This is the most unethical and unprofessional store I’ve ever encountered in my life! My partner sent our wedding dress to elegance preserved, and it came back horribly altered and ruined! Is this a dry cleaner or tailor?! They deviously sent a rushed driver to drop off the dress, so we weren’t even allowed the time to check before accepting it. I loved how easy it was to get my wedding dress cleaned and preserved with Elegance Preserved! They picked up and dropped off my dress promptly (they give you a live ETA of the driver on the day they pick up/drop off)--I love how I didn't have to drive to drop off or pick it up myself. I had such an incredible experience with this company! I purchased my Allure Bridal 9956 dress from Elegant Lace in San Jose in February 2024. In October that year, we had an amazing outdoor wedding at a winery, but by the end of the night my dress and train was black all along the edges. I was recommended this company by my bridal shop. I purchased my dress a couple of years ago when the pandemic had started and the wedding just kept getting held back.
