First of all I really like EI products, but their customer service is the worst. I had an oil pressure sensor go bad in flight 800 miles from home. After landing and determining it was just a sensor, I called EI for support. I was told they were busy and would call back. I stressed that I was an AOG aircraft and really needed a part shipped by the end of the day. Several hours go by and no call back. Tried a few more times and no luck. Subpar products, poor reliability, constant issues and really bad support. AOG requests take weeks to turn and no one ever calls back. We have 5 of their MVP-50P units and a few others scattered through our fleet and have had nothing but problems with their connectors and probes. Whenever we send equipment back for repair, they only tell you what you want to hear and fail to actually get equipment back to you in a timely manner. Completely endorse the product and the company and people behind the company. Last 2 airplanes were equipped with the MVP-50 system. The product itself is terrific, with a beautifully presented configurable and logical display. Intel is spot on and as such reliance on the output is something on which you can rely.
