FIRE HAZARD- PLEASE BE AWARE- SEE PHOTOS The plenum heater has worked just fine for many years until this winter it caught on fire and the smell of burnt electrical filled the house thru the duct work!! Please be aware when purchasing from this company as this could of been catastrophic. They offered no explanation of why this happened when another family member reached out to them.
We have two of their boilers. Use them for radiant floor heat in our house and work shop. We have gone through multiple boilers from other manufacturers that have not held up. The Electro Industries boilers have performed much better than all the rest. I recently did have a component fail well after the warranty was expired. Amazing company. We recommend them for anyone switching to solar. They were kind to also allow a tour with myself and my subs. We have been happy installing their products. I am not one to post reviews but it made me sad to see a great company - pushing building science boundaries, have a one star review. I couldnt be happier with the half dozen boilers and furnaces we have installed. FIVE STARS
Working on a boiler that’s 10 years old, it has been discontinued, not a single company stocks replacement parts. The company itself has replacement parts available but has to be purchased from one distributor so the prices are ridiculous, $85 for a heating element, and we need 5, control board price is $480 not including freight and it will take weeks to get here, I would never install or support a company that doesn’t have replacement parts available from one single source so they can set a monopoly to the poor souls that ... read more
