Beware of idle fees. The charger asked for a phone number to keep you updated on your charge. After an hour walking around the mall and no text, I decided to go check on the car. Evidently, the car finished in 20 minutes, and I was charged. 40¢ a minute after that. (glad I went to check, I was charged more money for idle time than it cost to charge the car) I know I put my number in correctly because it texted me a receipt.
They charge idle fees (.40/min) and sales tax and absolutely fail to tell you until you've disconnected. Never had that issue with EvGo. Will never use their chargers again.
Electrify/vw needs more stations and better prices to compete with fuel prices. 2600 mile journey cost me twice as fuel and 20 percent more than tesla.
