I've had my EV for almost a year and this was the first time that I have needed to charge away from home. I was very nervous about figuring it out in the pouring rain or pulling up with less than 10% battery only to find non-operable chargers... It could not have been easier! All chargers were working (and busy). A car was leaving as I arrived. It was easy to get close to the charging cord. I used the CCS connection and the screen on the charger walked me through the process. Easy peasy and fast!
Went when the mall was closed - empty stalls so I was the only one charging. Could not get it to charge more than a couple of kW before it would randomly disconnect. Tried the app and the card reader. Called customer service and they reset the charger m, but left me stranded on the phone for probably 10 min later waiting for instructions. Finally got a charge at 50c/kwh, but at only a <60 kW rate. An awfulllot to pay for a mediocre charge speed, particularly when no one else is here.
