One charger was broken. Had to wait for a charger to open, very busy location. The charger gave us an error several times after it started charging. Had to charge it 3 different times to even get to my 80%. Every time we had to disconnect and reconnect the adapter and charger several times.
One Hyper-fast machine wasn’t working at all. The other Hyper-fast charger delivered 62 kW without any other EVs here while the other charger cable on the same machine delivered 262 kW.
This is an emergency stop only, 63Kw at an 150kw charger, you 350kw charger will not start. Ironically, I have had the same experience with this site 4 years ago.
Back in Demeber 25, 2026, I had a horrible experience where I had to switch connectors 9 different times and charge in 1-5 minute sessions until the last time I plugged to the 350kw was stable enough to charge my 2026 GMC Sierra EV to 80%. I get that my truck has a 170kw/h battery pack and it strains a station more than your usual 150-250kw charging speeds for your average EV, but it was completely unacceptable that this happens when you need it the most.
