Wow this company seems so scary! An automatic change was made from health first to this elder plan but after reading the reviews…. I must save my parents life and request a return to the original insurance company!
Please do not accept Elderplan/HomeFirst as your health care plan for home health aide services. Once they complete the health assessment they do not inform you that you are given additional hours with 7 days a week when you only need 6 days a week in my situation. They do not tell you that after you have completed and been accepted into the plan. Now I'm dealing with having to escalate to Care Management to rectify the situation. Horrible backwards insurance plan! No online portal, no email or direct line to “care manager”, no support. Should be renamed ELDER NEGLECT!!! Despite multiple requests and follow-ups over the past two months, Elderplan has not successfully arranged for a provider to deliver these medically necessary services to my father’s home. Elder giving false advertisements if you participated with them if you do elderplan tricked you into their advertisements and get rewarded with gift cards which is not true. Do not participate with any events with them. False advertisements
