From the homeowners perspective, I bet they do save you money, but from the renter's perspective: this is suburban slum-lording. Period. They have allowed multiple old-growth trees to fall, despite our warnings, because it's not worth basic maintenance to avoid damaging neighbors property or endangering tenants safety. They have performed zero scheduled maintenance on our rental; we actually saved them thousands in flood repairs when we caught the water heater two days before explosion. I own rental properties, I've bought and sold condos and houses, I've been a licensed NC real estate broker since 2004. I want to put this message out there to other potential tenants. Beware - they are trying to collect rent with minimal effort, if you sign a lease you're on your own. Read their xxxxx reviews... I should have done more homework before I signed, but at least I can help people moving forward.
