History Of Elbers Landscape Service In 1891, Henry H. Elbers entered the field of horticulture in Buffalo and five years later was appointed superintendent of the old Parade Grounds ( now Martin Luther King Park ). After 18 years of developing a renowned public green space, Mr. Elbers was appointed director of the Buffalo Botanical Gardens. With 27 years of experience under his belt, Mr. Elbers opened Elbers Landscape Service, and in 1918 and moved the business to its current location on Main Street in North Buffalo in 1920.... read more
