I would have rated Zero stars. Hello I am writing this review on behalf of my family and my deceased husband. We chose Elara caring for hospice care for my husband due to them promising to deliver the expected hospice care I was seeking for my husband . Little did I know I was about to experience a nightmare . 1st day equipment was missing, nurse showed up late, and another nurse took over and did our intake form. I told Heidi in CT that no one is welcome here until we get answers. Initially, she seemed willing to help by contacting UCONN, but then she reverted to the unhelpful, dismissive attitude. When she said your services can't diagnose and suggested working with our uninformative PCP, I lost my temper. She obviously wasn't listening to me. How does Elara Caring have an APRN and not use this service to help customers? Sit on your butt in front of a computer. The CT medical system seems driven by profit, not care. Like everyone in the medical field, they have all become Lunch Box Workers who put in time. You will never get the real help because they will never get answers or try to get health answers for you. They can't communicate with the Hospital or PCP, the only read paper sent to them that is incomplete. DO not use these lunch box services if you do not know what is wrong with your loved one. Mangement would rather discharge their workers than seek answers because "it is not my job"
