HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES – I am a very unhappy customer. I have utilized Elan Day Spa's facilities and services for five years. In the beginning of this year, the massage therapist that I had been happily satisfied with was terminated. I had recently bought a 6 massage package before my massage therapist was terminated. Great eyelash perm! – Had a really bad experience at bella nova day spa, so I stopped by this place instead. Read a couple reviews online from here & other sites so knew it wasnt a first class spa so wasnt expecting much. Was really surprised! NO GIFT CERTIFICATES – Thank you Lindalynn for reminding people NOT TO PURCHASE gift certificates from Elan Day Spa on Elridge/1960. Other places they were very professional and always honor the Gift Certificate even expired! You know, I do not understand why there such a policy expiration on the day spa gift certificates? Elan Day Spa on Eldridge 1960 – Well, what should I tell people now? We did visit this place but I was so disappointed couple thing: -the manager did not treat us right! She seemed to be very difficult to understand? Very rude! or she is stuck-up? Elan Day Spa on Eldridge – I've been going to Elan for several years now and have my massages with Naomi - she is the BEST! I've tried a couple others from time to time when she's not available, but I won't do it again. No Naomi - no massage! Disappointed – I recently bought my girlfriend a $150.00 gift certificate for Elan Day Spay and was really excited about her going there and having a nice relaxing day there. Well, when she came back from there and told me her experience, I was shocked. The girl that gave her, her manicure gouged her finger to the point that it was bleeding and all she did was put some kind of blue cream on her finger. Depends on what service you get – I have visited the downtown location several times, mostly because it is very close to my house so it is a short walk when I need a quick fix. I have nothing but good things to say about the facials -- soothing, relaxing, administered well and with high quality products. The massages are less consistent -- while the massage therapist does have good technique, she does have problems managing her time; more than once the end of the hour arrives and she has to skip body parts (e.g., feet) becau... read more
What a little gem1 – I visited Elan today for the 1st time. I had been a regular at the Downtown Club at the Met until they closed. I really just stumbled on this place while doing a google search. I had no problems making a reservation and when I arrived, I was expected, was taken into a fabulous waiting room and given a bottle of water. GOOD VALUE 4 PRICE ! – I think it's a hidden gem.. I really enjoy the serenity & flower petally fountain right there where u relax! .. (Usually a place this nice will charge more), but this is DEFINITELY A GOOD PRICE ! I got a 1 hour swedishe & it totally rocked ! --(the whole experience!)
