This was by far the best experience I could have asked for. Timely appointments perfect every time I’m so beyond happy with how my wedding dress looks! Miss Elaine made my dream come true of designing and creating my Mother of the Groom dress. As a petite, curvy mom with a specific color in mind, off the rack was not an option. From the initial design consultation to final fitting, her professionalism and design talents were impeccable. Custom by Miss Elaine is a great and affordable option for any "Mother of the". I would not recommend Elaine for your wedding dress alterations. I requested “Ariel mermaid sleeves” which Elaine said she could easily create. When going to my last fitting, the sleeves were uneven (which were fixed after I waited for 2 hours), however, she was very rushed. Right after I walked down the aisle, the sleeves busted open on both sides. Luckily, one of my bridesmaids knew had to sew and we had an extra sewing kit. Elaine did my alterations for my wedding dress, my rehearsal dinner dress, my surprise reception dress (that was my old prom dress from 10 years ago), and my mom’s MOB dress. Elaine did everything perfectly! I could not believe how amazing her talent is. I asked her to add a large bow onto my wedding dress and WOW did she deliver!
