Great location outside NYC. Dr. Wan was very helpful and we are glad we got a second opinion from her. Our only issue is that her office did not call us to discuss the test results done after the appointment . We were able to see the results on MyChart but it is always nice to hear from the office as abnormalities were noted albeit not cardiac.
Dr. Wan has impressive credentials and is highly intelligent. She has gone above and beyond in two recent incidences. The first was when she spent much time reviewing my rather thick medical file and made a suggestion for a change of medication that has been proven to be highly effective. None of my other providers made the suggestion to resume a medication that proved highly effective in the past. Personal professional and thorough
Dr. Won has impressive credentials and is highly intelligent. When I was getting vitals done, her Nurse described her has caring and compassionate, and I certainly didn't see that, she had an unfortunate "bedside manner". Nonetheless, I hope to develop a relationship based on mutual respect, and still hope to benefit from her substantial skills even though the initial meeting was a disappointment, especially given my 500.mile drive to see her.
I cannot recommend Dr. Elaine Wan highly enough. From my first appointment through to the resolutions of my cardiac concerns, the entire experience can be described as exceptional expertise, genuine compassion, and clear communication. Dr. Wan listened to my symptoms carefully, conducted examination thoroughly, presented a clear step by step treatment plan with possible options, and answered my questios patiently. I feel ease under her care.
