Dr. Karis didn't clearly explain my diagnosis & she was frequently short-tempered, seemed irritated. I went to another dr for another issue & brought my most recent bloodwork as requested. He said, "So, you have scleroderma." I had never heard the word before & I said so. He said, "It's right here in your bloodwork." I went back to Dr. Karis, alarmed & she shrugged. It's important to plan financially & personally for this & I was surprised she didn't think it vital to share that crucial info.
Cold. Dr. Karis did not look up from her emr once. Seemed irritated that I wanted to present my symptoms off script.
Having an unknown illness for the past 8 months has been extremely difficult. I've seen seven specialist. Dr karis is by far one of the best Drs I've ever seen. I only wish I could have her as my GP! I'm a nurse for 20 yrs and have an extensive medical family, almost all MDs including my father. All involved with my issues agree dr Karis is not only an excellent MD but she truly cares and goes above and beyond!!
