She completely disregarded the symptoms I clearly described, resulting in a misdiagnosis. I will never return to her.
Terrible experience. She made some snap judgements and did not actually LISTEN to me and my concern. Ultimately I had to see another Gyn to get a proper workup. Beware of this extremely rude woman.
Sweet and wonderful. Took her time to ask good questions and very knowledgeable. No wait time - brought right in for vitals at appointment time and doctor was in the room 5 minutes. So glad I found her and this practice.
Very dismissive of patient experience and thoughts. I came to her with extreme period pain that disrupted my life and asked what it could be, she told me “this is just what women go though.” I was so upset at being dismissed after waiting so long for an appointment that I cried. Went to another OBGYN a couple months after who told me she wouldn’t be surprised if I had endo, and told me pain at the level I am experiencing was NOT in fact what women go through. Unfortunately I have to say I wouldn’t recommend Metcalf.
She did not listen to me which resulted in an incorrect diagnosis. Will never go back to her.
