Apartment kitchens are a bit small if you plan to cook a lot, but the location and amenities are absolutely primo. We've stayed here three straight years and will be back again. You will not find a better location in Sarasota, I guarantee it!

We stayed at El Tropicale for a week and it was splendid. Great place, great service and great location.
Fantastic place to stay while visiting Sarasota. All the apartments here have excellent amenities, you can clearly see the detail that went into the design and continued upkeep of El Tropicale. The apartment I stayed in had EVERYTHING I needed for the stay and more. Location is perfect, walking distance to downtown, restaurants, grocery stores, bars. . there is not really anything it's not close to. Easy free parking, free use of brand new washing machines.
