Great service, good and drinks. They weren't really busy. Maybe we found a hidden gem!
We have been big fans of El Tiempo for as long as we’ve lived in the NW Houston area. The Vintage Park location was our go-to TexMex spot when we lived in Spring. Upon moving to The Woodlands, we were ecstatic to see we’d have a location close to home. If you have loved El Tiempo in other parts of the Houston area, please understand that this location is *not* the same. Everything about this restaurant is sad—service, vibe, food quality. Visited when they first opened years back (2019-2020??) and the service was horrid. Okay, give them that they'd been open maybe a week. Today was in the area and decided to give them a try again. Well same horrible service, bland tasting salsa, stale chips, no flavor to the chicken fajita chalupa and the chicken was cold. If there was a no star available I'd give them that star. So sad that we can't get the same quality food and service in the Woodlands that we had in Houston at the Richmond, Montrose and Washington Ave locations. Wed night, ordered to-go pickup, fajita plate missing cheese, sour cream, pico, and tortillas. Just meat, grilled onions, rice and beans for $30. Stale chips - guess they stop trying at 8pm.
