It was quite a different experience to combine Hispanic and Asian sushi rolls on the menu. The restaurant was a step up from your usual sushi place. The service was very fast and the server was very attentive. She was able to answer questions on certain sushi rolls on the menu and was very detail oriented. This place is only getting stars due to the food which was pretty well. Other than that the service was terrible absolutely disappointing. The hostess seated us lastly when we were first in the restaurant they tried to claim that we didn’t have all of our people but we did. My friend literally drunk glass from one of the cups, instead of the manager handling it they way he should he absolutely disregarded her drinking glass. AMAZING sushi/appetizers and love how it’s all tied to Mexican culture. Coming from WA it was tough to find good sushi, it’s here. Music vibe should change or be turned down techno type music felt off.
The ambience at this establishment can be misleading. The decor is aesthetically pleasing, with dim lighting throughout the restaurant. But, the food did match the quality nor the perceived elegance of this establishment. We ordered Viva Las Vegas roll, noodles and gyoza. It was weird that they gave my husband the noodles before we got our appetizers, 5 minutes later we got the gyoza and at the end they arrived with the sushi.
