El Rio kicked my husband out after only being in their facility approximately 10 or 12 days. I was truthful with them when I told him my husband would try to get out as he did in the prior 2 facilities. I was told that they had staff who could handle this.,I paid $10,500 on the day he was admitted. 5 hrs into his stay I was getting calls from staff stating they couldn’t handle him. My in laws are both at El Rio. In my opinion they both receive excellent care. they have been there for 1 1/2 years. We visited several other memory care facilities before choosing this particular one. I believe we made the best choice. Staff is friendly, informative, and react quickly to any situation. We appreciate all of the staff members at El Rio.

Mother has been here for 9 months now. It's still hard on her at times but when asked if she wants to leave, her reply is always "but my friends are here." And who would take care of her? The care is far above anything I have seen. The nurses and caregivers are awesome and extremely friendly! If there is an issue, the administration has an open door (and open ear policy)! Their care and personal touches makes myself and my family feel better about leaving her!! If mom 's happy, then we're happy!!
