My husband and I traveled from coastal California to Tucson for our younger son's mid-October wedding. We expected to enjoy the wedding in spite of the record-breaking heat and be eager to return home. But we found a haven away from home in Patti's beautiful inn. The courtyard, with its fountain, mature trees, and lush foliage and flowers always seemed to catch cool air and a gentle breeze even when the world outside was baking in the sun.
