Rip off prices. Two pieces of chicken cost over $10, then they push expensive add ons. Something that costs about $1 to make is sold for $10. Charging prices like that leaves a bad feeling with people and they Curse you with bad Karma. That is why you and your family will never be happy with cheated money. That’s life. Money made by overcharging never brings lasting satisfaction.
This was my go to spot when I’m in Richardson. But today, I received some undercooked chicken. Was chewy and not cooked all-the-way through. Very unfortunate.
JULY 12, 2026: I have eaten at this location several times. It's always been good. El Pollo Loco doesn’t make fast food. They make delicious food fast. They have a drive-through, but I prefer to dine-in. Today Iris greeted me and my friend, and helped me with my order. I had some questions about the App. She answered my questions, and helped me to use my rewards from inside the App. I ordered (2) $5 Original Pollo Bowls. They were delicious. The young man at the drive through was the most polite fast food employee who has ever served us. Chicken was not out for 20 minutes, but his attitude was so great that we didn’t mind the wait. He offered us complementary beverages for the wait and eventually brought us the food. His service was exceptional and Pollo Loco should be proud of having an employee like him and take care of him. I didn’t get his name, but we were truly moved. Great job!! Oh, and the chicken was great, too ;)
