All the doctors deserve a 4-5 star at Rio Grande. Accept for Dr.San Miguel!!! If you are a young teen, he is not the one to go for any kind of care. He has zero compassion and will purposely inflict pain. Many years after I had my daughter. I told a coworker my experience with him after finding out she once worked at Rio Granda OBGYN group. I told her after having my baby (I was 18yr at the time) I had a follow up exam with Dr. San Miguel. Sad to say all Dr. Torres really cares about is money just like the clinic/Tenet smh. Mind You he HAD been my DR going on 20 yrs.!! I have PCOS so I can’t have children; so clearly getting my annual exam is no longer priority to him/Tenet because they can’t make MORE money off me. those are just my female problems. I haven’t been seen in over seven years. Due to Covid I have asthma so that’s my problem for sure I know, but there was a plethora of insurance issues. It was going to be my first time going to this office and I'm glad I dodged the bullet especially because of all the negative comments I've read about this place, they wanted to charge me around $200 just to be seen. I told the girl at the front desk that I wanted to cancel my appointment because I don't have the money and she seemed to be bothered by it.
Dr. Torres was amazing for me and my difficult situation while pregnant. Helped me get help for my postpartum depression.
Love Dr Montes. She has such a calm reassuring energy to her. She’s been my dr for many years and 3 pregnancies.
