Over the past 10 years Dr Gutarra has helped me tremendously in managing my auto immune disease (ankylosing spondylitis). We have gone through different treatments and medications. Everytime he has listened to my concerns and worked with me to find an appropriate solution. The front office at the El Paso Rheumatology location is wonderful to work with. This doctor is a horrible excuse for a human being and an even WORSE excuse for a doctor. He has ZERO bedside manner and is extremely rude. My mom suffers from chronic pain, she has dealt with this for years now, Dr. Gutarra is her second rheumatologist and WORST. He pokes and prods her with no care as to whether he is hurting her, he has no patience with her and answers her questions very rudely, he offers no help or resolution for her pain, he has ZERO empathy for her. I saw this "doctor" a long time ago. The few minutes he was in the room he was at his computer and didn't bother to do a physical exam like my new rheumatologist does. He disregarded and ignored anything I had to say. The lab orders my PCP sent to him were very clear and ihad many red flags that included overboard inflammation markers that obviously showed there was a huge problem.
