Horrible electrical service and horrible customer service. If I didn't have kids and pets, I'd learn to live without electricity. That's how bad El Paso Electric is. Go solar.
They cut off branches ftom a fallen tree, said someone (Asplundh) would be by later to clean up. They came by twice, picked up some of the debris but its been more than a month and there are still 2 large piles of branches in my yard. I've called multiple times.
They hire some of the most incompetent people. Why is it that even though I spell my name for then multiple times it still ends up spelled wrong on the bill? Why does it take so long to get answers from anyone anytime there's an issue like an outage? I'm so glad I got solar panels so that I don't have to pay an outrageous bill from this trash company anymore.
These guys are a joke. Not only do they increase rates regularly for the power they supply, but they also lowered the rate at which they buy solar power from residents from $0.16 to now $0.02.
