El Paso Electric has deceptive billing practises. This is my second complaint against them for the same thing. El Paso Electric’s policy states that when you have a $50.00 or more solar energy credit, each month they will send you a check for that amount, each month. In June, I earned a solar energy refund check for $89.58. I emailed them on July 11th, asking them where was my check? They responded on the 17th stating that my refund has been submitted. I am curious as to why the upper Belvedere/Coronado Country Club area, in El Paso, Texas, has such frequent, almost scheduled blackouts. Invariably power fails around 6:15 pm and comes back on between 2:49 and 2:55 am. This is the third year since moving here, and I've kept a record. I've also lost freezer food due to thawing all 3 times. This appears to be exclusive to this area, as it does not occur in Park Hills or surrounding neighborhoods. What is the reason for this. Please address this selective black-out issue.
