Horrible customer service. Always has been, but even worse now that you can't speak to an actual person. Also whoever decided on bill matrix should be fired
This is what our people should protest about! Forcing us to go green in a recession, these prices are ridiculous for no good reason! We're being squeezed everywhere thanks to our lovely federal government!
I'm writing this on my cell phone cause the power is out, not sure why or how long it's going to be as the web site isn't helpful. my big complaint is their billing, we signed up for auto pay but most months our bill is really a credit due to our solar panels, but their antique billing system can't tell the difference in a positive or a negative balance, so even though they owe us money they take the same amount from our checking until they have hundreds of dollars of our money that we never owed. nobody in customer service ... read more
It's the first time in years that I didn't send my electric payment by mail. I enjoy the experience here even though there was a line people were friendly and the cashiers were very very professional.
We bought a plug in hybrid that qualifies for EV rates. There is no way to contact anyone at EP Electric to ask questions before you sign up. I emailed customer care and was given the main number with an extension. The problem is there is no place to dial an extension when you call. The system only allows phone transactions, not a way to talk to a person. And that is from their folks whose only purpose is taking care of customers.
