Wonderful people. Always helpful
The ladies in the office are extremely unhelpful, cannot explain the process other than stating that they do not have enough man power to help. You would think in this County with all the Veterans they would have a simple packet to do the VA Disability exemption for Property Taxes and be able to take the application whenever it is turned in. Horrible Customer Service and the ladies behind the counter need to be Replaced.
My property taxes went up from $995 to $1447 a year in 2023. This loser valued my 1103 square foot single level rancher at $369,000. Unbelievable. The city can't fix a pothole, so where is the money going? 2025 now, had to write an escrow check for extra $1120 to cover another 40% increase in taxes while my property valve declined $30 grand. Roads suck, violent crime sucks, property crimes sucks. Where's the tax money going?
