Absolutely brilliant experience with El Monte RV Rentals. We honestly couldn’t have asked for better service. A massive thank you to Sandra, who looked after us at check-in. My flight was late, we were having a nightmare getting our credit cards to work, and what could easily have turned into a stressful start to the trip was made so much easier because she was incredibly patient, friendly and helpful. Rented a 28' Rv for 5 weeks. Pros: - Decent service, when we got stuck on the road were surprised at how quickly we got service to get us going. - got reimburesed for multiple self fixed issues Cons: - Rv had a few major issuses and ton of small issues. Example: fresh water tank wasn't installed properly so it couldn't be filled (fixed while on the road), heating stopped working (major) some seatbelts weren't working, leaking sewage hose, and many more (minor)
We rented a vehicle from Seattle and whilst we did not have any mechanical issues, we did have some problems with the RV, specifically around routine maintenance that caused us some disruption to our trip. Specifically, we had issue with the black (sewerage) valve leaking which meant a few messy cleanups and us not being able to use the toilet fully (which is supposed to be the point of a RV). We rented a Class C Family Sleeper for a cross-border move. Picked up in Seattle, WA and returned in Linden, NJ. The RV drove great and only had minor issues that their road support was great at helping us through. Pick up time starts at 1pm unless you pay extra for an early pick up and the office was very busy with renters on a Monday so plan accordingly. The staff were all friendly, courteous, and working extremely hard to get people on the road! Highly recommend!!
