Please don't be put off by the outside of the restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious and service was pretty good. Everything we ordered was delicious and hot, though some things came separately. Very quaint and authentic! I tried the puposas. Never had them before! I will certainly have them again! Que bueno!!!

I eat out more than I prefer and it feels as if a majority of the places gravitate towards each other an copy each other. I don't blame them, they need to make money and satisfy their customers. In ways it feels like Hollywood movies, in that everything is a remake or consistent IP. Now El Guanaco, to me feels different, my taste buds said, "how you doing?" Me decepcionó profundamente la sopa que me servieron, ya que tenía un sabor muy extraño. No pude determinar si estaba en mal estado o si simplemente no tenía suficiente sabor. Lo único rescatable fueron las pupusas.
