I went for dinner to this great restaurant. They were having a menu change over special with 50% off appetizers, 30% off entrees, and discounts on drinks and empanadas. We tried sangria, prickly pear margarita, 2 kinds of empanadas, burnt beet salad, bone marrow with fries, and each got a steak and split a flan (on the house!) for dessert. I had a wonderful dining experience at El Gaucho Grill! The food was absolutely delicious — everything we ordered was full of flavor and prepared perfectly. The Tira De Asado was outstanding, and the appetizers like empanadas and chicken were amazing as well. The service was excellent from beginning to end. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of without ever feeling rushed. Food was not Argentinian, cook who is also the owner is actually from Uruguay. I was really hoping to eat some authentic Argentinian cuisine for I have visited Argentinian in the past. Server was alright I’ve had better attentiveness, also the price is 30$+ per main dish which doesn’t quite match the atmosphere or quality of food. There is also a 18% gratuity included within a bill of party of 5 or more. Overall I give the place a 2.5. DO NOT recommend.
