Very nice casual dining room. I bet it's fun when it's hopping.
this place is simply not good. food is overly salty (will dehydrate you during summer) and it's not mexican authentic at all. i regret not walking one more block and having maizal.
What a lovely place - service was fast and attentive - I had (several) Gatorites which were phenomenal. The decor is warm and welcoming - will be back for sure.
El Gato does what other Mexican restaurants have failed to do in Mt. pleasant for some time; create a beautiful and welcoming restaurant that doesn't try too hard to do something well. Lovely place, shared a few plates between us and everything was very very tasty. I'm a sucker for a cocktail and I have to say the ones I tried were all fantastic. Can't remember what they were called but I mentioned what I liked and they recommended 4 that were all amazing. Place was very clean and staff were super helpful 👌
