I was watching a First Amendment Audit on YouTube today by Bay Area Transparency from 9/29/23. The employees in the Probation Office and the Public Defender’s Office were very unprofessional. The guy named Andy in the long sleeve red shirt asked the auditor to leave several times because he said it’s break time and he held the door open for him to walk out in almost a demanding tone. Be very careful! I was charged with a DUI - the attorney was very easy to get ahold of and she was very nice. I took a plea that she said was standard for a DUI. MY fault for not looking over the terms and trusting her. They gave me 4 years summary probation and a search clause - so i can be searched at any time/any place with no warrant. my home/persons/property can be searched at any time. Extremely alarming that the public defender and staff within this department made repeated attempts to violate a citizens rights even after being made aware of that fact by a sherrifs department employee. Even going as far to state that the office is private and belongs to the public defender not the people. Red flag .
