Excellent Service and Great Attitude! – My son was reporting for duty with the Marines when his 95 Dodge Dakota broke down while visiting Coronado. Rock was able to quickly identify the engine trouble and and discussed the options for fixing it including estimates of cost. El Cordova Garage repaired the the truck, guaranteed the work, and the final cost was less than the estimate! Rock and crew delivered!
CON ARTIST AND THIEF – Charged to allegedly repair my jeep when he actually did nothing to the car. He also charged to fix overheating on my BMW and 2 days later my car overheated and I had to walk 3 miles home AFTER HE FIXED "ALLEGEDLY" DO NOT GET RIPPED OFF BY THIS LIAR. Everyone warned me not to go there, but i didn't listen. I should have.

The customer REFUSED the work on the BMW, all we did was diagnose the problem. They did not want to go through with the repairs. If he broke downa few days later that is on him. We did do work on the jeep, and if you ask most people, it is the dealership that screws up repairs. We get mountains of customers bringing their cars in from the dealerships. This couple that has decided to slander us have nothing better to do. His wife sent us numerous emails harassing us.
Charged money but never actually did the work – Not gracious to military. Has no problem taking money from a customer and lying about the work. He worked on my jeep and said it had a bad sensor, the next day I took it to the Jeep dealership and they said there is nothing wrong with the jeep. This guy is a crook AND EVERYONE ON CORONADO WILL SAY HE IS A THAT. Just ask a local.

Not gracious to the military, are you seriously that ignorant? We have a son in the Army, my dad was a Naval Commander, don't tell me about having a lack of graciousness for the military. You got pissed off because we don't do "Military Discounts". This is a military town, if we offered EVERYONE a discount, we would go out of business. Use your head. We are not crooks, we are known for our honesty, so talk to some real locals. You and your husband have nothing better to do than slander people.
BEST SERVUCE IN THE SAN DIEGO AREA – I have been a customer of El Cordova Garage for the past four (4) years. The new management is great! The guys in the garage do trustworthy testing and solutions are forthcoming in a timely manner. Ask for Rock, the owner, when you go in and tell them your a friend of Margie's.
FINALLY A PLACE U CAN TRUST – THEE GUY ARE THE MOST HONEST, STRAIGHT FORWARD DEDICATED GUYS I KNOW. BEING BUSINESS OWNER MY SELF I CAN APPRECIATE THERE LEVEL OF COMMITMENT AND QUALITY OF WORK, AS WELL AS GREAT COMMUNICATION…..I WOULD ONLY TAKE MY CAR THE EL CORDOVA FROM NOW ON. THANKS FOR GETTING IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME GUYS
Illegal Business Deals – These guys towed my motorcycle while I was deployed and had it sold by the time I returned. The DMV and PD can't help much because the paper trail for my bike ends in Mexico. They "say" they sold my 2007 Suzuki with 98 miles for $450
Business response:
You received lien paperwork, the finance company did and so did the insurance company. When all three entities don't step up and take care of the vehicle then it becomes ours. It cost us way more than $450 in storage to keep it in our lot. It is too bad you didn't take responsibility for your vehicle, maybe this will teach you not to park in a 72 hour lot.
