El Chico Cafe is the BEST I just love El Chico. The food is fabulous. The queso is so good. You can get a ribeye the way you like it. ask for the top shelf fajtas they are the best so good. Then top it off with a Margarita. They do have a lunch special every day. My experience was good and we will be back. We do eat at El Chico all the time.
El Chico Cafe is better than ever !!! THE BEST JUST GOT EVEN BETTER !!!I have been going to El Chico Cafe since I was in High School in Dallas back in the 1960's. I recently moved to Sherman and was so happy to find one here. Good TexMex Hard to navigate to this place if you aren't familiar with Ardmore's twists and turns. The service was very friendly and fast, but the brisket tacos I had on my first visit were tasty, but stringy and tough. I have had much better luck on subsequent visits,
Good TexMex My cousin and I meet here for lunch about every 6 months or so. The staff is always friendly and the food is always very good. The last time we were seated between two very noisy families with small children, which was not a good place to sit to fussy older ladies.
Great Food and Atmosphere A friend and I lunch here every week and the staff has gotten to know us so well that they bring our drinks to the table almost as before we are seated. The service is always fast and the food always delicious.
Good Eats I actually like this El Chico's. Great atmosphere, noise level is OK, and food is excellent. Wait staff are of excellent caliber. I have never had a bad experience in about 5 years of going to the place. Yes, I'm still hardcore, no 5 star rating, but their good. Worth the trip folks!
Yummy! El Chico's is great. Yummy salsa, fabulous empanada's (sp?) and great martini's! Service was great and waitress's are very friendly. Environment was clean and didn't feel dark and dingy like cheaper Mexican restaurants seem to feel.
A favorite Located somewhat difficult to get to if you aren't familiar with the area, but the food is good. They have the classic fajitas and some of the best new way and old way queso around. Facilities have a bar in the center with tv for sports viewing, and keep things neat and tidy.
great Mexican food El Chico has some of the best Mexican food around. Their margaritas are amazing and their prices aren't bad either. Their staff is always really nice and the service is always quick.
