Unfortunately, I have to add to the warnings about the damage done by the El Car Wash in Fort Lauderdale across from Trader Joe's. A piece of trim came off my car when I went through. I just got the new piece ordered, and the estimated total part/labor/painting costs are ... $1800 !!!
Disappointed and poor managers. This was a good spot when it opened. Very local to my house and good experience. Previous visit had the machine malfunction and ratcheted the side of my car. Quite literally the only way my car could get these slashes. Manager pulled the video and lied. Showed me the video of the car leaving the wash and said "this is the car going in" when it clearly wasn't. Nothing will happen of course but wanted to share.
Bought a subscription and when I came to wash the truck the person guiding the truck misaligned the truck when it shimmied the truck put itself in safety mode. The operator could not figure it out and kept insisting they I was in drive which I was not I showed him I was in Neutral. He could not communicate as he only spoke Spanish.
